How to check for the latest version

Themes and Plugins are continually updated. Here's how to check for updates.

Changelogs

The fastest way to know for certain that you are using the latest versions is to compare your Theme and Plugin versions with the ones listed on our real-time changelogs.

Reference " How to find Changelogs" at the bottom of this article.

Plugins

Automatically

  1. Start on your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Click on Plugins
  3. Click 'update now' on any plugins that say 'There is a new version of...'
  4. Wait for the status to turn green and for the status to change to 'Updated'

Manually

  1. Start on your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Click on Plugins
  3. Reference the version number under the plugin list (Example) and compare with the version number in the changelog link below

Themes

Automatically

  1. Install the Envato Market Plugin
  2. Follow the installation instructions under "How to install"
  3. You can always check if there are any Theme Updates under WP Dashboard / Envato Market

Manually

  1. Start on your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Click on Appearance / Themes 
  3. Hover over the Theme image (not the child theme) and click on details (Example)
  4. Note the version number (Example)
  5. Compare with the version number in the changelog link below.
