Stratus - How to recreate the standard header in Elementor

In Stratus, there are a couple of separate options for the site header, which are outlined in this article here.

The default theme header is a simpler option, but if you want to customize much about the header, it's best to utilize the Global Templates feature.

If you want to start with a header that is very similar to the default theme header (including the sticky header and animation) here are the steps:

  • Essentially what you need to do is create 2 headers in the Global Templates area using the steps in the article above - you can start by importing one or two of the demo headers. If you want to have two very similar headers, it's best to complete the first header, and then clone it in the Global Templates screen.
  • One header should be styled with an opaque background, and one of them should be styled with a transparent background.
  • You'll want to set the transparent header as a standard header, and the opaque background header should be set as a sticky header.
  • Optionally, if you want you can also set it to slide down by using the Motion Effects settings on the Sticky header. Here is an example: https://cln.sh/GYvXg1
  • This is where to set them and the values: https://cln.sh/G06BpB

With the available options, there are a large number of ways it can be set up as well.
